TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Provisional bookings
Provisional bookings will be taken without obligation and held for 7 days. Thereafter this date is not secure until a non-refundable deposit of £3000 is received.
Deposits
To confirm your wedding booking we require an initial non-refundable deposit of £3000. Confirmation will be sent upon receipt.
Payment of the deposit and the acceptance of the reservation will constitute a formal contract and acceptance of our terms and conditions and of the quotation provided.
A non refundable deposit of £3000 is required, payment preferably via bank transfer with your name and date of wedding as the reference. This deposit is transferrable at the wedding coordinator’s discretion.
Payment of Accounts
An invoice for the balance will be issued 6 months before the wedding and 50% of the agreed costs will fall due. The final balance is to be settled in full one month in advance of the wedding date. Confirmation of final arrangements (including the menu) should be confirmed at this time. Final numbers and accurate guest list is needed 1 month prior to the date of the wedding.
Pre-payments for non-arrivals are non-returnable and cannot be transferred to cover food, drinks or entertainment for other members of the party.
Payments are to be made via bank transfers only.
An invoice for the drinks bill arising from additional expenditure at the wedding will be issued at the end of the event and must be settled via credit card before departure, unless alternative arrangements have been made.
Cancellation Policy
In the unlikely event that you should have to cancel or postpone your wedding, the deposit is not refundable but in certain circumstances may be transferable for up to 12 months.
If the wedding is cancelled within 3 months of the date there will be a cancellation charge of 50% of the agreed costs of the function. If cancellation occurs less than 4 weeks before the date there will be a cancellation charge of 100%. Customers are advised to insure against such eventualities.
Decorations and Damages
No advertising material or decorations may be fixed to walls, ceilings, floors etc within the venue unless previously agreed with our wedding planner. The client is liable for the costs of making good any damage to the fabric of the venue caused by their negligence or by the negligence of their guests or suppliers.
No man-made confetti is allowed at any of our venues. Biodegradable confetti or real flower petals are acceptable.
Cars parked on or within the grounds of any I’ll be Mother premises are parked entirely at the owners’ risk and no liability is accepted by the venue for any loss or damage
Price Changes
Whilst every attempt is made to hold the prices as shown, there may be occasions to change these due to market fluctuations. These increases, where necessary, will be agreed between the parties prior to the function taking place.
Registrar arrangements
Registrar costs are paid directly to the wedding administrator for Kent, at Kent County Council. We book your ceremony and they will then be in touch for payment. Their prices can be found on www.akentishceremony.com
